Organization of the Department of Mental Health (DMH)
The Director and Chief Deputy Director are appointed by the Governor. The DMH is organized into the following major programs: Administrative Services, Long Term Care Services, Program Compliance, and Systems of Care. There are also the following support functions: External Affairs, Human Rights, Legal Services, Legislation, and the Office of Multicultural Services.
