Stigma and Discrimination Reduction: Public Workshops

You are invited to attend a public workshop to provide input on the draft California Strategic Plan on Reducing Mental Health Stigma and Discrimination. Two workshops will be held on the dates and locations listed below. A conference call will also be held, as listed below. The draft Plan contains preliminary recommendations to reduce stigma and discrimination associated with mental health problems. We strongly encourage you to register in advance by clicking on the link below or calling (916) 233-4013 and asking for Nicole.

These workshops are accessible to individuals with disabilities. Language translation and sign language interpretation can be provided if you request it when you register; requests must be received by Friday, March 6.

  • Workshop 2: Thursday, March 19, 2009; 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.; Holiday Inn Orange County Airport - Santa Ana, 2726 S. Grand Ave., Santa Ana, CA, 92705. Located parallel to the 55 Freeway and Accessible by Bus Routes 59, 72, 74, and 213 Express Route
