Statewide MHP Contact List for Children/Youth Placed Out-of-County

The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is working collaboratively with county Mental Health Plans (MHPs) to ensure timely and effective access to Medi-Cal mental health services provided under the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) benefit, including Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS). These directory pages were created to provide counties and providers with the contact information needed to assist in facilitating communication between MHPs regarding mental health services for children/youth who are placed out-of-county. For each MHP, the directory’s contact information includes the mental health director, the children’s coordinator, the out-of-county placement coordinator, the TBS coordinator, the county contact for TBS authorization and the county contact for county interagency agreements. This list is updated annually in the month of August.
